kisir for trips
The app for splitting trip expenses with friends
A villa paid by one person, a car by another, dinners on whoever’s card worked. kisir keeps the whole trip in one list and tells everyone who pays whom at the end.
What a group trip looks like
Trips are where shared money gets messy fastest: several people paying, several currencies, some costs for everyone and some only for the people who went on the boat. By the flight home nobody remembers who owes whom, and one person ends up rebuilding it all in a spreadsheet.
kisir is built for exactly this. Make a group before you leave, send the link to the trip chat, and whoever pays adds the expense on the spot — even with no signal.
What helps on a trip
- Any currency, per expense. Pay in pounds, lira or dram; kisir fills in today’s rate and converts to the group’s currency. Change the rate to what your bank charged, or settle each currency on its own.
- Works offline. Add, edit and delete expenses on a mountain, a ferry or a plane. They sync when you’re back online.
- Only the people it was for. Split the boat tour between the five who went, the dinner equally, the room by shares.
- No sign-up for anyone. Friends join by link, QR code or code with just a name. Someone without the app can be added by name.
- The fewest payments. At the end, each person sees only their own part of the plan and records it in one tap.
