kisir for couples

An expense splitting app for couples

Groceries on your card, the holiday on theirs, rent split by income. kisir keeps a calm running balance between the two of you, so nobody has to keep score in their head.

kisir’s Spent view: what you paid, your share of the costs, the group total and who spent how much.

Shared money between two people

Couples rarely split every coffee, but the big shared costs — rent, groceries, holidays, furniture — add up. When one person pays more often, it can sit unspoken for months. A shared list takes the feeling out of it: it is just numbers both of you can see.

kisir works with two people the same way it works with ten. Make a group for the two of you, add expenses as they happen, and settle when it suits you.

What helps a couple

  • Split your way. Equal, by shares (say 60/40 by income) or exact amounts — per expense, so the rent and the dinner can follow different rules.
  • Who spent how much. The Spent view shows what each of you paid and what your share of the costs was.
  • Personal costs stay personal. An expense can be for just one of you, even if the other paid.
  • Any currency. Holidays abroad go in the currency you paid in, converted at today’s rate or the one your bank used.
  • No sign-up. Just a name. No email, no password, no bank connection.
