Everything kisir does, on one page
kisir keeps track of who paid for what in a group — a trip, a shared flat, a dinner — and settles it in the fewest payments. Here is all of it, feature by feature.
No sign-up, for anyone
You pick a name, and that’s it: no email, no password, no phone number. Friends join a group from a link, a QR code or a six-character code, and people who don’t have the app can be added by name.
An email address is optional, and its only job is to bring your groups back on a new phone.
Splits that match what happened
Split an expense equally, by shares (2 for the couple, 1 for everyone else) or by exact amounts — and only between the people it was for. One expense can have several payers, for the dinner two people put on their cards.
Any currency, per expense
Each expense can be in any of 145 currencies. kisir fills in today’s mid-market rate, and you can change it to the rate your bank actually charged.
Or keep currencies apart: a group can settle each currency on its own, with no conversion at all.
Settle up in the fewest payments
kisir keeps every member’s balance and works out the fewest payments that clear the whole group. Each person sees only their own part of the plan, records a payment in one tap, and the group closes itself when everyone is even.
Works offline
Add, edit and delete expenses with no signal — on a mountain, a ferry or a plane. They sync when you’re back online. Joining a group and recording payments need a connection.
Fair by design
Only the person who added an expense can edit or delete it, so nobody’s entry changes behind their back. Every change is kept in the expense’s history, which the whole group can see.
Nobody deletes a group, either: everyone leaves when they’re done, and the group goes when the last person does.
Notifications that matter
When someone adds an expense, records a payment or joins, the others get a notification — never the person who did it.
Your data, out any time
Any member can export the whole ledger — every expense, who paid, who it was for and the settlement — to CSV or Excel, free.
Both halves of the iPhone Duo
Open an iPhone Duo and a group shows its balances and your plan on the left half and the list of expenses on the right, split on the fold. Close it and kisir goes straight back to the usual tabs, on the same screen. Buttons stay clear of the camera pill.
Wide Android foldables and tablets get the same two-pane view.
Free, with no catch we know of
No ads, no subscription, no limit on groups or people. No analytics or tracking in the app, and the data is stored in the EU.
The app speaks 20 languages, and runs on iPhone and Android.
Try it on your next trip
It takes about a minute to start a group and share the link. Free on iPhone and Android.
