How do I add an expense in another currency?
Tap the currency next to the amount and pick the one you paid in. kisir fills in today’s rate to the group’s currency; tap Change to use the rate your bank charged.
Step by step
- In Add expense, type the amount and tap the currency button next to it.
- Pick the currency (search by name or code).
- kisir shows the amount in the group’s currency and the rate used. Tap Change to enter your own rate.
Good to know
- The ledger keeps both figures: what you paid and what it counts in the group’s currency.
- A group can also “Settle each currency separately”: then nothing is converted, and each currency is split and settled on its own.
- The group’s own currency can only be changed while the group is still empty.
